[Pre Blog Project]
This was a leftover yarn project, or at least it turned out that way. I had a lot of this grey yarn from undoing a jumper I had made previously for my partner. I think it turned out much too big and eventually I frogged (unwound) the whole thing. I decided to make this cardigan instead, not sure which pattern it was.
I started running of the grey yarn around the sleeves, so started working both sleeves in parallel until it ran out, so I could change colours in an even way i.e. have both sleeves the same. I started using up other small amounts of yarn I had in my stash. This worked until I reached sleeve cuff, I just had nothing yet! So the only part that's not even is one cuff, it has two colours.
Anyway, it turned out so nice. Really happy with it. Its a perfect fit for me, its thick and warm and comfortable. The sleeves gives it statement. I think if it was all grey it probably would have been boring. So this turned out just perfect. Which is rare for a leftover yarn project...

Hi there I'm Charlotte from London and I am a Millennial hobbiest. By that I mean I love making things, for both the process and the outcomes. On this blog I talk about all the things I'm working on and learning each week. On some projects I will go into a bit more detail on what I did and my experience through it.
Some facts about me:
- I am not a perfectionist, preferring to complete something than to attempt to make something flawless.
- I am in a constant cycle of building up inspiration, executing the ideas, then winding down to reflect and regenerate.
- I am interested in almost anything that can be made from scratch using nature / natural materials.
